Cibil score tells creditworthiness of a person (it ranges from 300 to 900). As per general standards a score of 700 and above is good for availing credit facility. Following 4 factors make up the score

2. Credit Exposure (25%weight)
3. Credit Type & Duration (25%weight)
4. Other Factor (20%weight)
Factor affecting credit score
Delinquency –As per studies 30 days delinquency can reduce score by 100 points
Credit history – Longer the better
Amount of Loan-Lower loan utilization ratio is good
Enquiries – Lower hard enquiries are better (self-checking or soft enquiries does not affect score)
Credit Duration-Good mix of Secured and unsecured loan for long tenure is better
